The Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution asserts that those powers not specifically delegated to the federal government are reserved to the states or the people. Why has Washington increasingly ignored this amendment? Is it fundamental to our federal government, or was it just a meaningless afterthought tacked onto the Bill of Rights?
