The Institute for Policy Innovation (IPI) is honored to host acclaimed civil liberties attorney Alan M. Dershowitz in Dallas on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, as part of its Hatton W. Sumners Distinguished Lecture Series.

As the Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, Professor Dershowitz has been called “the best-known criminal lawyer in the world,” “the top lawyer of last resort,” and “Israel’s single most visible defender.”

A regular contributor on CNN and Fox News, Dershowitz is a world-renowned litigator and has represented a series of celebrity clients, including Julian Assange, Mike Tyson and Patty Hearst.

Professor Dershowitz is the author of 30 fiction and non-fiction works, including his autobiography, Taking the Stand: My Life in the Law, as well as The New York Times #1 bestseller ChutzpahRights From Wrong; The Case For Israel; The Case For Peace; Blasphemy; Preemption; Finding Jefferson; Shouting Fire, and most recently Trumped Up: How Criminalization of Political Differences Endangers Democracy.

He has published more than 1,000 articles in outlets such as The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Newsmax, and Jerusalem Post.
