How Bad Is the "Housing Crisis?" with Ed Pinto

The cost and availability of housing has been a big talking point almost from the beginning of the Trump administration, but it really goes back to the high inflation and higher interest rates of the Biden administration. Now, bills before Congress would make a number of changes to the housing market, including controversial provisions to limit investor-owned housing.

But is investor-owned housing really a problem? What should Congress do, and more importantly, not do, on housing policy? More importantly, should the solutions come from Washington, from the states, or from localities?

Join us online for a candid chat with AEI's Ed Pinto as we dive into the big question: is the housing crisis really as bad as everyone says? Whether you’re curious about the market or just love a good policy discussion, this event will give you fresh insights and plenty to think about. We hope you'll join us.
