On February 18, 2012 the Institute for Policy Innovation and State Policy Network co-hosted a special session during CPAC convention to bring awareness to the "Restore the Tenth" movement. The purpose of the coalition is to raise awareness of the U.S. Constitition’s Tenth Amendment limitations on federal power, raise objections to proposed and existing legislation based on Tenth Amendment grounds, and motivate policymakers to act to constrain federal activity.
