Everything you think you know about income inequality, poverty, and other measures of economic well-being in America is wrong. And on September 19, former senator and economics professor Phil Gramm will explain why.

In his provocative new book, The Myth of American Inequality, Senator Gramm successfully challenges the prevailing consensus that income inequality is growing and a threat to American society. You can hear how he demolishes the income-inequality argument and obtain a copy of his book by joining the Institute for Policy Innovation (IPI) for our next Sumners Distinguished Lecture Series luncheon.

In this Wall Street Journal Best Book of 2022, Gramm and his co-authors demonstrate that our official statistics dramatically overstate inequality. Income inequality is lower today than at any time in post-World War II America. The Myth of American Inequality provides clear and convincing evidence that the American Dream is alive and well.

Please join us for this great policy luncheon. In addition to General Admission, VIP Reception tickets and table sponsorships are available which will gain admission to the VIP Reception and a chance to have your book signed by Sen. Gramm.

For years you’ve heard only one side of the inequality debate. Now you can hear what you’ve been missing at IPI’s Sumners Distinguished Lecture Series luncheon with Sen. Phil Gramm.
