DALLAS – Last night’s historic election returns a divided government to Washington, and both parties share stunning upsets in statewide and local races. What do the changes in the political landscape mean for Texas and the U.S.?
At the Institute for Policy Innovation’s Hatton W. Sumners Distinguished Lecture Series lunch on November 13, University of Virginia Center for Politics founder and director Dr. Larry Sabato will analyze Tuesday’s midterm election results and address changes in the U.S. House, Senate, and state legislatures – all against the backdrop of the upcoming 2020 presidential election.
“What better timing than one week after a significant election to bring to Dallas Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball, a leader in accurately predicting elections,” said IPI president Tom Giovanetti. “We’re privileged to be able to give folks in Dallas a chance to meet him and ask their questions during our lunch on November 13. I know we will all benefit from Dr. Sabato’s insights as we look forward to 2019 and beyond.”
The lunch takes place at the Renaissance Hotel in Dallas on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.
